Day 1 . To Trivandrum
Fly from London Heathrow to Trivandrum

Day 2 . Trivandrum
Full day sightseeing of Trivandrum visiting Observatory of Trivandrum, Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Sri Chitra Art Gallery, Shanghumukhuam Bach, Kuthriramalika Palace Museum and the Zoological Park.

Day 3 . Kovalam
Head to Kovalam and visit the sights including the classical lighthouse beach area, the charistmatic spice markets, traditional fishing areas and famous beaches.

Day 4 . To Kannyakumari
Spend the day visiting Kannyakumari, the southern most land tip of India, where the Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal meet. Visit the multi-coloured sand beach, the lighthouse for views and the Tamil Nadu art museum.

Day 5 . To Periyar
Head to Munnar through the charming landscape of Thekdy. Visit Periyar wild life sanctuary en route visiting the biological garden of spices with its numerous tea fields and family tea pickers.

Day 6 and 7 . To Kumarkom
Spend two days on the peaceful backwaters, visiting the canals by boat, and visiting the rice fields, coconut grooves and villages by foot.

Day 8 . To Alleppey/Cochin
Disembark at Alleppey and drive to Cochin. Visit the the Jewish synagogue in 'Jew town', the St. Francis Church, the Santa Cruz Basilica), the Dutch Palace, the spice markets in the narrow streets and the famous ancient Chinese fishing nets. Evening take in a Kathakali dance show.

Day 9 . To London
Day at leisure before transferring to the airport for your return flight
